There was a bar on this quiet corner in Tavira. We assume the dog’s companion was enjoying the ambience inside whilst his or her faithful hound was waiting outside. Phil will tell you I love dogs and will go out of my way to have contact with any that are happy to reciprocate. I don’t go round photographing every one though. This was an exception due to the unusual spot the dog had chosen to wait; just offset of a crossing. I also loved the smudginess of the road markings too. Rest assured the dog was in no danger as the road was deserted.
